The Fairland Historical Society, in partnership with the Shelby County Public Library’s Genealogy & History Department, invites the public to attend a special program on May 21, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. Donna Dennison will present “Research Tips for Using Library Resources,” with a focus on Fairland and Moral Township.
Attendees will learn about the variety of resources available to support their own research and are encouraged to stay after the presentation to explore the library until closing. While the program will highlight examples from Fairland, it is designed to benefit anyone interested in historical research.
The event is free and open to the public and will be held at 33 W Broadway St., Shelbyville.
