Shelby County Public Library: Make Friends with a Horse (June 25th)

Families are invited to join the Shelby County Public Library and their friends from Harnessing Hope Therapeutic Riding and Driving for an evening of fun in the Outdoor Plaza on Thursday, June 25, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with a horse, participate in activities, and create a themed craft.

Harnessing Hope, located in Morristown, provides weekly therapeutic riding and driving lessons from April through November, with appointments available year-round. The organization also offers Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) programs for schools, field trips, community groups, scouts, and staff team-building events throughout Indiana, either at its facility or at off-site locations. Barn visits are available by appointment only.

Registration for the event is available online. For more information about this upcoming library program, contact Pam Weakley at (317) 398-7121, ext. 239.
