Shelbyville, IN − Shelby County Public Library is hosting a “tee-rific” time for serious golfers and casual players at Pure Strike Sim and Social, located in Rivergate Shopping Center, 1810 E. State Road 44, on Wednesday, July 29. Slots start at 10 a.m.; the last opening is at 6 p.m.
Pure Strike offers virtual versions of famous courses around the world; the one selected for this fundraising event will be a course in Scotland, to be determined later. It costs $50 per person for two hours of play time, with up to four persons per bay. The registration fee includes a hotdog, chips, and a drink.
Event sponsorships are $500, garnering recognition online and at the event; individual sponsorships are $50 and include recognition with other hole sponsors online and at the event. Shelby County Public Library offers a wide array of programs and services for adults, teens, and children, including story times, book discussions and author visits, gaming and hobby hangouts, how-to programs, and live entertainment performances.
