About: The Genealogy & Local History Department of the Shelby County Public Library offers carefully curated local and Central Indiana resources, research help, genealogy workshops/programs, and compiled online resources to help everyone. A subscription to Ancestry.com is also available to use while in the Genealogy Department of either branch: Shelbyville (*located in the Carnegie East Wing) and Morristown.
Mission: Shelby County Reads is our One-Community, One-Read program. Each year a committee meets to choose a book title for the community to read and to develop programming that enhances the theme of the book. Titles for our younger readers are also selected that relate to the main book.
About: The sharing shelf at our campus supplies students on the go with snacks and quick meals to keep them focused at school. Our goal is to keep the students studying, successful and staying to complete their education. The food you provide helps students meet that goal.
