SHELBYVILLE/GREENFIELD, Ind. (November 12, 2025) -- Aspire Indiana Health is expanding services as the new Community Mental Health Center (CMHC) provider in Shelby County and Hancock counties.
This summer Aspire was selected by county leaders and state officials as the designated CMHC for Hancock and Shelby counties, replacing the prior CMHC provider, Community Health Network. Work began immediately in serving people who needed care. In this newly designated role, the nonprofit agency will expand to provide a range of behavioral health and addiction treatment services.
Aspire has a nearly 60-year record of serving vulnerable Hoosiers, including as an existing CMHC & FQHC for Boone, Hamilton, Madison and Marion counties. It has continually worked to advance an integrated approach to healthcare, developing programs that provide wrap-around services aligned with individuals’ medical and social needs.
“Aspire Indiana Health is humbled to have been selected to serve Shelby and Hancock counties,” said Aspire President & CEO Antony Sheehan. “In just a few short months, we've built strong partnerships with other healthcare providers, elected officials and key stakeholders in these communities. Aspire pledges to continue to grow our capabilities to meet the needs of the community in the years to come.”
The company announced locations opening to serve mental health patients:

Aspire continues to hire staff and has partnership agreements in place with Major Health Partners and Hancock Regional Hospital.
