Shelby County Public Library: Family Science Expo (April 25)

Get ready to tinker, build and learn at Shelby County Public Library! Families of all ages are invited to participate in our Family Science Expo on Saturday, April 25 from 1-3 p.m.

Visitors can explore exciting STEM stations designed to spark curiosity and creativity at this all-ages event, which will take place in the Youth Program room. Library Assistant Molly is going to host a non-fiction/STEM story time at 1 p.m. that will last about 30 minutes, in addition to the other stations spread throughout the youth department.

Whether you’re a budding scientist or a lifelong learner, there’s plenty to discover. Students will learn about circuits, magnets, structures and more! If you are looking to encourage STEM exploration for your family or simply rekindle the joy of discovery for yourself, this event is a great opportunity.
