Shelby County Public Library is ready to begin extensive renovation and rejuvenation – just in time for spring. Work is slated to begin on March 4 or 5. The project will be financed by a $2 million General Obligation Bond, which was approved by the Shelby County Council in July 2025.

Meals on Wheels is in need of volunteers to deliver meals to clients in the Fairland area the 1st and 2nd Tuesdays of March, April and May. They are also searching for a volunteer to deliver the 2nd Wednesday of each month. Food is picked up at Town Hall in Fairland and deliveries take approximately one hour and a half.
