First Christian Church: Alexandra Hudson Live Presentation (Jan. 29)

Julie Alvis January 7, 2026

First Christian Church is hosting Alexandra Hudson, a best-selling author and nationally recognized speaker, for a live presentation focused on civility and discourse in today’s cultural and political climate, and what that means for local leaders.

While the event is being hosted at their church, the content is intentionally practical, accessible, and relevant for leaders, professionals, and organizations across our community—regardless of church involvement. Many local business leaders find this kind of conversation helpful for personal leadership growth and team development. As well as school administrators may find a wellspring of resources in this event for those tough conversations between faculty and parents.

The presentation will take place on January 29th, 7 p.m. at First Christian Church, 118 W. Washington St., Shelbyville, IN 46176. On the following day, 9 a.m. Leaders are invited back to First Christian Church and encouraged to attend a special roundtable workshop led by Alexandra Hudson (lunch will be provided. We would love for you—or members of your leadership team—to join us. There will also be opportunities to connect with other local leaders who care deeply about the health and future of our community.

Thank you for all you do to invest in Shelbyville. I hope we’ll have the chance to see you there.
