Shelby County Public Library: Haunted House Fundraiser (Oct. 18)

Julie Alvis September 19, 2025

Prepare for a wickedly good time at the Shelby County Public Library’s Haunted House fundraiser. The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 18, from 6:30 to 10 pm, with the last group allowed entrance at 9:30 pm.

Tickets are available online. Tickets are $10 each, or $25 for a family of 4. Tickets at the door will be $12 each; presales will get first entry. Join the Friends of the Library for $15 and get a free ticket!

Both buildings and the courtyard will be “spooked.” Entry will be in the Carnegie East Wing front doors at the top of the ramp.; exit from the main library. The alley behind the library will be closed for the night.

This is the library’s big fundraiser of the year, with proceeds going toward programming and events for 2026. It will be held rain or shine.
