The Giving Tree has arrived at the Morristown Branch of the Shelby County Public Library! Come pick up tags to help a local Morristown family with Christmas gifts. All tags and gifts must be returned by December 12 at 5pm.

Stop by the Grover Center on Sat., December 13 between 10am-3pm (open house). Enjoy model trains in the basement, a reading of The Polar Express, checking out the Festival of Trees, and a cup of hot cocoa. Fun for all ages! Free Event.

Morristown Matters Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held on Sun., Dec. 7.

The Waldron Hometown Holiday Parade will be held on December 7 at 6:30 P.M. Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy the parade, have some cider, and see Santa Claus!

The Mainstreet Shelbyville Mistletoe Market is on Fri., December 5 from 5-8PM with the community holiday parade starting at 7 PM.

The Boys & Girls Club will be hosting their Community Dinner on December 20 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at their Shelbyville location (710 S. Miller St. Shelbyville IN 46176). This is a free event. Come out and grab a meal with them!

The Ville Early Learning Center is hosting their Annual Holiday Cleaning Supply Collection (Nov. 1 - Dec. 15). They are accepting paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, toilet bowl cleaner, trash bags (30 gal), rubber gloves, and window cleaner.

This event has been cancelled. The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce invites you to take part in the “sip and shop’ crawl on Sat., Dec. 6 from 12pm-4pm. Learn more.

This holiday season, you can make sure children in the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program—kids who have faced abuse, neglect, and uncertainty—feel the love, warmth, and joy that every child deserves. When you sponsor a child, you’re helping make their Christmas morning sparkle with hope and reminding them that they are seen, loved, and never forgotten.
