Mission Statement: We believe that we live in a community of wonderfully talented people. Too many times we fail to realize the talent that walks amongst us every day. The Strand is a place to showcase our community for who we are and what we do. Shelby County has a proud history. The Strand is committed to helping our citizens realize our proud heritage of the past, present and future. We believe that through the efforts put forth on our stage, we can positively impact the quality of life for all citizens of our County. To do this, we are committed to bringing a variety of entertaiment to our theatre, while making it accessible for the novice to the professional.
Available Opportunities/Positions: Volunteers are appreciated at every performance at the Strand Theatre! Whether it’s helping greet guests, work the concession stand, or clean before or after the show, you are welcome to get involved! (*As a bonus, you’ll even get to enjoy the show!). View their Calendar of Events. There are times when work days are planned as well to help out with special projects at the theatre. Advance notice is appreciated if you plan to help out at an event.
