Shelbyville Parks & Rec: Highland Games (May 18)

Shelbyville Parks and Recreation Dept. is looking forward to a fantastic event with much growth from our Inaugural year. The games will be held at the Shelby County Fairgrounds in Indiana on Saturday, May 18th (Events start at 9am and will run until approx. 4pm).

Shelbyville Parks and Recreation will be hosting a Community Easter Egg Hunt on Sat., March 30 at Kennedy Park (309 Coffey Ln, Shelbyville, IN 46176). The Easter Bunny will arrive at Noon - Egg Hunting will begin shortly after 12pm. It is free for children ages 10 and under.

Shelby Supply Company offers Community Woodworking Courses

Shelby Supply Company offered their first Community Woodworking Class on March 15 & 16! Eight participants learned how to use woodworking equipment to create their own cutting board. They were able to offer the course at a discounted rate in thanks to a grant from the City of Shelbyville.

SCUFFY: 2024 Campaign Kick-Off Breakfast

Shelby County United Fund (SCUFFY) launched their annual campaign on Wed., March 7! SCUFFY supports 13 local nonprofits. They have a goal to raise $910,000 in 2024. Pacesetters for the campaign raised $172,921.44 ahead of the kick-off breakfast.
