St Vincent de Paul Society of Shelby County has been thankful for Jim Carrier’s service as President. That position will change hands on December 1, 2022. On Mon, October 24, Steve Goebel was elected to become the second president.

The artwork is featured on a 2023 calendar - free to the public. The Shelby County Drug Free Coalition is also hosting a Free “Escape the Vape” (Escape Room) on Thurs., November 17 at 2pm.

I knew that all involved community professionals would have 60 seconds with each student where the kids would respond to a specific prompt. My script was to ask students, “Tell me about an influential local non-profit organization, and explain the rationale for your selection.”
