Joshua Center has been awarded a grant to plan and facilitate grief and bereavement retreats for children living in Shelby County. Because of the Blue River Community Foundation, grieving children and adolescence in Shelby County will get to go to the grief retreats free of charge! While attending the retreat your child will begin their journey experience hope and healing through creative memorial activities, fun games with new friends, a hayride, fishing, 1:1 time with a hope helper, and so many more fun age appropriate activities. Are you interested in becoming the voice of children who have experienced abuse and neglect? Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) speak on behalf of the child's best interest in court. Build relationships with the children, parents, and foster parents to advocate for the child. Our next CASA training session is starting in September.
