Help is needed for all of the following areas: Score Keepers, Timers, Referees, Registration and Souvenir Table Workers, and Concessions. Shelby County, IN Nonprofits, Schools, and Government Agencies are invited to attend the interactive half-day workshop, “Purdue Extension’s Navigating Difference: Cultural Awareness,” on Thurs., February 2 (8:30am-Noon) at Echo Effect Arts Campus in which participants explore personal and cultural values, biases, prejudices and views. Through conversation and activities, participants learn how culture shapes us, how cultures are different and similar and how we can recognize our own culture(s), including our organization’s culture.
