Women's Bridge to Hope Recovery Home is now a Nonprofit

Congratulations to Women’s Bridge to Hope Recovery Home who is now an official nonprofit serving Shelby County Women!

In February 2021, Shelbyville Community Church opened the Women’s Bridge to Hope recovery home, a part of The Bridge Ministries, to meet a community need as part of our heart and vision to be a disciple-making church that brings hope and healing to our community.

Over the past two years we have had the honor and privilege of walking alongside women released from jail, those leaving abusive relationships, and those that have found themselves in toxic living situations.

Every woman we have served bravely entered our home on a journey to find hope and healing. Women have not only found a loving community, but they have restored relationships, gained new skill sets, grown spiritually, learned to love themselves, and regained custody of children.

We have proudly served our community in this way over the past two years, celebrating numerous accomplishments and graduates. We are excited to announce that beginning June 1 the women’s home launched into its own distinct nonprofit.

We invite you to join us in celebrating and supporting the work of the women’s home in this new chapter. This new nonprofit has its own board of passionate and dedicated volunteers and now operates autonomously from Shelbyville Community Church and The Bridge Ministries.

We are blessed to have been a launching pad for the women’s house and ask that you pray with us that it will continue to impact women for decades to come.

We pray that as the women’s home goes into this new season that God will continue to bless them and use them to provide love and support to women in our community.
