Central Indiana Land Trust: Meltzer Woods Weed Wrangle

Can you feel it? Spring is just around the corner. That means that garlic mustard will be rearing its head very soon. Invasive bush honeysuckle will green up. Callery pear will be in bloom before we know it. These invasive species, left unchecked, pose a real threat to natural areas. But never fear. Invasive plants like these don't stand a chance against our stewardship crew and volunteers!

Ready to get your hands dirty? Work days from the Central Indiana Land Trust are planned! With just a few hours of your time, you can help improve the health of our preserves. Join them at Meltzer Woods (1522 S 600 E, Shelbyville, IN 46176) on any of the following dates: April 12 (10am-1pm); April 19 (10am-1pm); April 26 (10am-1pm); May 3 (10am-1pm) and May 10 (10am-1pm).
