Julie Alvis July 9, 2024

S.A.S.S.: Back to School Supply Drive & Distribution Days (July 22-27)

SASS Shelby Accessing Social Supports has organized its 4th annual Back to School Drive and Distribution. If you, your organization, or corporation would like to donate school supplies for Shelby County students, they can be dropped off at the Community Corrections office (10 W Polk St, Shelbyville, IN 46176). You can also bring them to Walmart during the collection days — July 19-20 (10am-4pm).

Financial gifts to buy supplies are also welcomed! Checks can be made out to S.A.S.S. and brought to Community Corrections.

Supplies can be purchased through this Amazon Wishlist as well.

If you have any questions, please contact Kim Russell (krussell@fireflyin.org).

Distribution Days will be held on the following days:

  • SOUTHWESTERN (MON., JULY 22; 4-6PM @ MARIETTA FIRE DEPT.)

  • TRITON CENTRAL (TUES., JULY 23; 4-6PM @ FAIRLAND FIRE DEPT.)
