As the holidays are approaching and the weather is becoming colder, social service agencies in Shelby County united through S.A.S.S. (Shelby Accessing Social Support) to offer an event to help people navigate the change in season.
The following topics were addressed at the Weathering the Winter Woes event at Girls, Inc. on December 8, 2022: “Financial Planning,” “Seasonal Depression,” “Winter Family Bonding & Activities for Kids",” “Recovery Resources,” and “Dealing with Grief during the Holidays.”
