The Shelby County Public Library is encouraging gardeners to grow an extra row of food this summer for needy families in our community. As food prices have risen, more families need food aid. Both Shelbyville and Morristown libraries will collect produce to distribute to food pantries. The deadline to submit an intent to propose must do so by April 17*. The grant proposal deadline is May 8.
